Position Summary

The HYPE Operations Analyst is an organized, innovative, creative, and detail-oriented education advocate with experience in coordinating program events, improving organizational efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate program requirements and long-term success. We are looking for someone with a passion for gender and racial equity combined with experience in administration and supporting the development of effective systems. This individual will help establish processes that support recruiting participants & customers, managing partner & volunteer relationships, evaluating program success, and planning special program events.

The Operations Analyst will report directly to the Director of Operations and will work alongside them to coordinate program activities and events, establish volunteer placement and communication systems, bring visibility to corporate partner engagement, monitor and conduct program evaluations, collect and enter stakeholder data into CRM systems, and establish a model for structure and organization to be implemented across multiple program activities and multiple program sites.

Hours Description

  • Full-time, salary, non-exempt employment status
  • Hybrid work, with the flexibility to work primarily from home
  • Requires some travel in the metro-Atlanta area to partner sites
  • Occasional requirement to meet in person and/or attend special events

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Metrics Collection, Analysis, & Reporting
    • Support the internal system(s) used for collecting organizational (internal & external) metricsDerive insights from data collected to recommend organizational improvementsCreate and maintain forms, applications, and agreements using a combination of tools including JotForm, Microsoft Form, DocuSign, WordPress, Salesforce, etc.
    • Create customized reports and aggregated analyses to support decision-making and information sharing with external stakeholders
  • Monitoring & Evaluation
    • Identify current demand and need of key stakeholdersEvaluate the current program structure and report on its ability to meet the needs of internal & external stakeholdersDevelop & strengthen monitoring, inspection, and evaluation proceduresResearch evaluation toolsWork with Director of Operations to develop a monitoring and impact dashboard for organizational successMonitor and evaluate overall progress on the achievement of results
    • Assist the Grants & Partnership Manager in preparing Quarterly/Annual reports on program progress
  • Programs & Internal Operations Support
    • Assist in supporting HYPE programs and event logistics
    • Managing the feedback collection process and tracking responses
    • Establish volunteer outreach and recruitment mechanisms
    • Support CRM system (Salesforce) data entry and maintenance
    • Document Standard Operating Procedures for internal operations and processes (*Note: some of the processes still need to be established and you’ll work with the Director of Operations to put them in place and roll them out to the staff at large)

Required Qualifications

Systems Experience

  • Office 365, Project Management & Collaboration Tools (such as Trello, Monday, etc)
  • Form Creation Tools (such as Jotform, Google Forms, Microsoft Forms, AirTable etc)
  • Microsoft Excel and/or database management
  • Mailchimp
  • Salesforce experience a huge plus
  • Website management through WordPress a plus

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Pass a criminal history background check

Other Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Strong data evaluation and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • The operations analyst will need to have strong technical acumen and demonstrate an ability to quickly pick up new digital skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage own tasks with limited oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks across multiple workstreams
  • Ability to prioritize and manage in a changing environment

Benefits & Compensation

Pay will be commensurate with experience and starting at $43,000/year.
