At HYPE, weโre not just teaching girls to code โ weโre building a movement to inspire the next generation of tech innovators. Hope for Youth, Inc (HYPE) is a small โ yet rapidly growing โ education nonprofit organization with a mission to empower BIPOC girls with technology skills and prepare them to become future leaders in tech careers, cultivating a pipeline of diverse talent for the tech industry. Through afterschool programs, summer camps, and pop-up workshops, we make coding fun, accessible, and empowering for underrepresented girls.

? The Role: Program Manager
This isnโt just any job โ itโs your chance to lead The HYPE Project (our flagship afterschool program) and our super-fun Summer Camps. Youโll manage a team of rockstar instructors, roll out amazing coding curriculums, and bring tech workshops to life.
Think of yourself as the ultimate multitasker โ part mentor, part project manager, and all-around STEM champion.
? What Youโll Do
Every day will bring new challenges and exciting opportunities! Hereโs what youโll dive into:
?โ? Lead & Support Instructors
- Design onboarding processes that make instructors feel confident and ready to shine.
- Manage schedules, training events, and team support for both The HYPE Project & Summer Camps.
? Bring Programs to Life
- Roll out engaging curriculums and keep the magic alive in virtual and in-person classrooms.
- Approve fun, bite-sized HYPE Byte projects and ensure students stay pumped about coding.
? Create Impactful Experiences
- Plan show-stopping program graduations that celebrate our scholars’ successes.
- Host hands-on STEM workshops and pop-up events to inspire curiosity and creativity.
?๏ธ Keep It All Running Smoothly
- Set up virtual platforms for classes, create seamless schedules, and coordinate with partner sites.
- Regularly review and improve programs to make them even better.

With an instructional designer/curriculum developer, program director, and instructors/teaching assistants, this is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to level-up their management skills with the perfect amount of support to make growth and success achievable!
? About You
Weโre looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about empowering young women in tech.
- Organized like a boss โ you love juggling schedules and managing logistics.
- A People Person whoโs great at leading teams, mentoring others, and building relationships.
- Tech-Savvy (bonus points if youโve dabbled in coding or STEM education!).
Your Experience:
- 3+ years of program management, youth education, or nonprofit experience.
- Familiarity with tech/STEM programs? Even better!
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
